Yoga & Surf Adventure with Jim Harrington

Utopia Eco Lodge, Rote Island, Indonesia, October 7th – 14th 2026
The overlap is real. Flow states happen with regularity in yoga, while surfing ocean waves, and in meditation. So the question becomes: how can we optimise each of these practices so that they support and strengthen the others?
It is well known among older surfers that their yoga and meditation practices keep them agile and resilient in the water. What is less widely understood is how these same practices can fast-track the learning curve for novices, and how certain techniques can supercharge the skill and power of the younger chargers.
In this adventure, you will learn life-changing skills and, in all likelihood, also enjoy some of the best waves of your life.
For the novice surfer, the best waves are yet to come, and I would like to help set you up to ride them well. For the seasoned or senior surfers, whose memories brim with epic stories of surf missions, I invite you to explore the possibility of this question:
An Exploration of the Profound and Interwoven Paths of Surfing and Yoga
What if the best waves of our lives are still ahead of us?
And then: How can we make that happen?
Making things happen in the surf world is all about timing, being in the right place, at the right time, and doing the right thing right there.
This is an opportunity to learn from a master with four decades of lived experience in the profound practices of both surfing and yoga. So if you feel the call to step into new possibilities in your surf and yoga journey, and this feels like the right timing, get in touch.

Daily Yoga, Meditation & Surf Integration
